Mark’s 30 years of experience and knowledge of the information technology needs in healthcare have proved invaluable to the growth of the company, founded in 2002. His commitment to recruiting and retaining only the best and brightest individuals throughout the company has created a lean, agile, responsive coding resource to provide healthcare facilities with extremely cost-effective remote coding solutions.

Jerry has vast experience in healthcare information management and delivery. He has been a key factor in defining and implementing the company’s various coding services, from PRN to Total Coding Partnership, which allow hospitals, clinics and physician groups to customize a partnership coding approach that best meets their needs, budgets and comfort levels.

Sarah Humbert serves as the Vice President of Coding Operations for KIWI-TEK, where she oversees the company’s domestic coding services for hospitals, health systems and physician practices. She manages all coding processes, including coders’ performance, credentials and recurrent testing. Sarah ensures that every coder in the KIWI-TEK family has full-time, responsive corporate support, training and mentoring to help with any coding issue. She is a member of AHIMA, IHIMA and CHIMA, and she is also an AHIMA-Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS trainer. Prior to joining KIWI-TEK, Sarah worked in a variety of HIM positions for Health Care Excel, MedFocus and St. Vincent Health System.

Christy Watts Craver

Christy has been in the coding industry for nearly 18 years, serving as a Coding Manager at KIWI-TEK for over 11 years. In her previous role she specialized as an IP and OP coder at a large trauma/teaching facility. While at KIWI-TEK Christy has structured a multi-specialty management team focused on a proactive approach for both hospital and professional coding services. She has used her vast knowledge of network connection options, EMR’s and abstracting systems to manage large backlog resolution projects, system transition periods and complete outsource clients.

From CDM and data analysis to inpatient and outpatient coding to edit work and  clinical documentation improvement, Charlene has assisted with almost every area of the revenue cycle. Charlene loves a challenge and is dedicated to the client/vendor team aspect to achieve coding and quality goals.

Kiera Williams, LPN, CPC, CHCCS

HCC and Outpatient Coding Manager

Kiera has been a certified coder since 2010 with a focus on HCC and Risk Adjustment. She also has Psychiatric Nursing background, working 15 years as a nurse. Prior to KIWI-TEK, Kiera worked for Stewart-Marchman Act (SMA Healthcare) as a Psychiatric and Forensic Intake Nurse and also with Humana as a Medicare Risk Adjustment Manager covering the Central and Mid-Florida regions.

Director of Coding

Myriam is RHIA certified with over 18 years of coding and management experience. She has a Bachelors Degree focused in Health Information Management from Middle Georgia State University and has been with KIWI-TEK for over 10 years.

Lana Skjolaas

With over 14 years of coding experience and expertise in a wide range of coding specialties, Lana has been in management roles with KIWI-TEK for over 10 years. Lana has an associate‘s degree in applied science and a Certificate in Health Information Management from Marshall University in Huntington, WV. Her current role as a coding manager also includes coder education, auditing, and assistance with revenue cycle functions. Prior to KIWI-TEK, Lana worked for Our Lady of Bellefonte in Russell KY, Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN and Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN.

Lisa has been with KIWI-TEK over 12 years, with 10 years in a management position. With decades of experience in the HIM and coding specialties, Lisa always looks for better ideas, resources and methods to achieve set goals. Because she highly values the individual as well as the team, Lisa also believes in the importance of personal and professional integrity and quality communication in the pursuit of excellence.
